HEID works turnkey. We take a project from first conversation to final styling — concept, technical drawings, procurement, appointed trades, installation and project management — so you manage one relationship rather than a site full of them.

From inception to completion, we handle every detail of your home. A small, senior team means the person who designed your space is the person who sees it built.
We work closely with your architect where one is appointed, and take full responsibility for the interior scope where one is not.

RETAIL
We design stores that sell. Lighting, fixturing, adjacency and flow handled with the same rigour as the aesthetic, because a beautiful shop that does not move stock has failed.

HOSPITALITY
Dining out is leisure for your guests and a workplace for your staff. Both have to work, or neither does.
We have delivered restaurants including Chinese Grill, Social Grill, MooMoo, Montanelli’s, Empire Burger Co and Brunch Street Café & Deli — front of house, back of house, flow, lighting, acoustics and the finish that makes a room feel worth staying in.
WORKPLACE
Full turnkey corporate design — new fit-outs, renovations and upgrades. We design workspaces that are functional, inspiring and genuinely pleasant to spend a day in, because that is what retains people.

PROJECT SCOPE
We typically take on projects from R750,000. Smaller scopes are considered case by case where the brief is a good fit for the studio.
